Jonah: 510.465.1279 What a terrible loss of life that today's attacks causes. Who was attacked? The United States Pentagon, the World Trade Centers. What an awful state of our nation that to attack it one must attack the center of commerce and the center of warfare. The United States would not have been attacked today if the World Trade Center was instead the Education Center, if the Pentagon was a Health Care Center. Instead the US was attacked because of its greed, because of its obsession with warfare, because it attacks the world daily through economic exploitation, by training militaries, and by militarizing its country and others, by forcing countries to abandon education, health care in exchange for money. Let us build a new country at the wakes of today's attacks. Let us create education, create health care, create humanity, care for the Earth and end racism. Let us not close up with these attacks, but open up dialog, create a new country, and a new future. Let us not look to outside enemies for the reason for this attack, but at our enemy within. Let us not ask others to change, or build racism and hatred stronger, but let us keep fighting for a positive future. Today, while an enormous loss and sadness can be a great opportunity to build a future of change, one where the United States will not be hated as it is, not a global economy or a global military, but a positive part of a global community.
