Dear all, With the impending Israeli elections for Prime Minister and the renewed negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian governments, the Right Wing and settler movement in Israel have stated that they will be moving towards protest-demonstrations and direct actions at a level which has not been seen in years, if ever. At this critical time it is very important that there are interested parties (both Palestinian and Israeli and International) with the capability to document any incitement, harassment and/or violence perpetrated by these Right Wing organizations. Therefore, we at the Independent Media Center of Israel are requesting for donations of recording equipment which can then be distributed to residents in as many locations around East Jerusalem and the rest of the Occupied Territories in order to have the widest capability to document any incedents.
