TITLE: Jewish Terrorists Might Conduct Massacres Against Palestinians

Israeli 'security sources' have been quoted as saying that there is a real likelihood that Jewish settlers in the West Bank may commit a new carnage against Palestinians similar to that which was committed by the Jewish terrorist Barouch Goldestein at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil in 1994. Goldstein then murdered 29 Palestinian worshipers while praying at dawn at Ibrahimi Mosque and injured scores of others. The Israeli state-run radio quoted the unidentified sources as saying the settlers were intent on 'doing something big to derail the peace process and thwart a possible agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority' said a despatch from Al-Qods.

The sources suggested that settler terrorists, probably in cooperation with right-wing circles in the Israeli army, would attack mosques, especially at the Haram al-Sharif of Al-Qods, and might even embark on carrying out atrocities similar to the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre. On Monday, the Israeli Attorney-General Elyakem Robenstein said members of the Kahana Hay terrorist movement were 'undoubtedly planning to carry out crimes'. The Jewish terrorists have murdered at least three Palestinians since the liquidation of Kahana Hay leader Binyamin Kahana in an ambush near Ramallah on Sunday. Jewish terrorist leaders in Al-Khalil and elsewhere in the West Bank have vowed to carry out further 'retaliatory' crimes against Palestinians. As a result, PA officials have called on Palestinian civilians to be on the alert.
