TITLE: Mujahideen State Conditions for Negotiations |

The Mujahideen Military Command Council has issued a statement that the Jihad will continue until Russia fulfills the following conditions: • Removes all the landmines planted in Chechnya. • Releases all kidnapped civilians and captured fighters from Russian concentration camps. • Reconstructs everything which was destroyed during the war. The conditions have been met with approval by both, the president of Ingushetia and the leader of Staropol, who urged Russia to stop all its military activities in Chechnya and start meeting the MMCC demands. The Russian government is also under major pressure from its own media, which has called for an end to the war. These pressures come in the wake of a significant number of admissions from Russian military and government officials, who have acknowledged that their forces have subjected the Chechen civilians to cruelty, after failing miserably against the Mujahideen. However, the Russian general, Tershov, has demanded that the forces continue fighting in Chechnya, for their 'own good. Ironically, Tershov himself has never physically fought in Chechnya, but believes it is best for the forces to do so. Mujahideen Operations Continue The unit of Commander Arbi Barayev destroyed a BMP armoured vehicle and a URAL transport vehicle in Grozny, killing and wounding scores of Russian soldiers. Five soldiers were killed when the unit of Commander Yaqoob attacked a URAL vehicle in Werndoi. Russian War Crimes Continue A Russian officer and his unit broke into the house of a Mujahid, raping his wife and murdering his cousin, and arresting the Mujahid and his father. Villagers later discovered the corpses of the Mujahid and his father, in one of the civilian streets. The MMCC has sentenced the officer responsible for these gruesome crimes, to death. Insha-Allah, this sentence will be executed in the future. Meanwhile, Russian soldiers in Argun attacked the Imam of a local mosque, and murdered him. The Russian forces have also recently adopted a new 'search method': when they suspect that a house belongs to a Mujahid, they search the house, kick the residents out, and level the building. END |
