In a marked escalation of Zionist repression of the Palestinian people, Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers murdered six Palestinians in the last 24 hours, according to a report received by IRNA from occupied Palestine. Palestinian Authority sources said two PA security officers were found killed Monday morning outside the municipal boundaries of Tulkarm in the northern part of the Bank. The two, identified as Tariq Ibrahim and Mua'ataz Suruji, were apparently killed by Israeli death squads.

A ten year-old boy, Ma'ath Abu Hadwan, died of serious injuries he sustained yesterday when his home was hit by an Israeli artillery shell during a heavy bombardment of the Harat al Sheikh neighborhood in al Khalil. A fourth Palestinian, a 22 years old identified as Abdul Rahman Khaled T'beish, was also killed in similar circumstances in Nablus when parts of the city came under heavy Zionist bombing yesterday. A fifth Palestinian, identified as Tahrir Rizeq, of the village of Hizma, near al-Qods, was martyred last night when Jewish terrorists entered the village and opened fire on Palestinian civilians. Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli occupation army assassinated Dr. Thabet Thabet, Secretary-General of the Fatah movement in the Tulkarm region. The martyrs bodies were laid to rest Monday in their respective hometowns and villages.
