TITLE: The Tragic Events in the U.S.

Dear friends, About The USA. The tragic events. About our own work. There is nothing else to do but to continue doing what we have been doing. Probably to try and do better, to do more. To see that anything can happen so best be prepared. At that high level there is little we can do but there remains the grassroots, the neighbourhoods, the work places, our own lives. To hold up the banner declaring that the future is indeed open, that there is future and to be a reference in that. Yes it is a long road and one filled with hazard. The question remains does one have a direction? Is there a personal project that carries one through events that cut across one's life and the lives of others we know not but have compassion for. Our programme(s) make more sense the more such violence manifests. Desperation should not dictate the reaction of the USA - nor should the North American people be enraged when they see such as Palestinian street folk cheering because they too are indocrinated by the propaganda of their own violent ones. Again we admonish the leaders who will feel inclined to show strong actions against the group and associated groups that planned and carried out the attacks - not to think that a limb can be taken off when the whole body is infected. They must go to the root. The USA has to also see it's own fault here that caused such a plan to be fermented. Not just that power has its price but to question - has a braod enough vision guided military, industrial, business and governments policies where these impinge on other nations, particularly when these were of the 'other side'. May the people of the USA have the wisdom to see that in punishing that violent minority, further hurt among the innocent that are of necessity in whatever association with those culprits needs to be avoided. Too many innocents have been pushed to that other side to enlarge the pool of fanatics. May we all work together to lay the foundations for a truly universal human nation.
